Dear Valued Customer,
We will be migrating our Plivo API endpoint to a more secure platform which will help us in achieving higher availability.
When is the maintenance?
14th Sept 2021 00:00 UTC - 24th Sept 2021 23:30 UTC
13th Sept 2021 17:00 PDT - 24th Sept 2021 16:30 PDT
What services will be affected?
• Support for SNI (Service Name Indication) will be mandatory.
• If the customer application is not supporting SNI validation, connection to the Plivo API endpoint will fail.
What is the solution for the affected customers?
• We have identified that customers using Java should upgrade to Java version 8u292-b10 or higher. Older versions are not compatible with SNI.
• We request the affected customers to contact our Support team to get details on the possible options including:
a. Get advisory on upgrading their application to support SNI
b. Using the Legacy Plivo API endpoint until January 15th, 2022
